Maybe it's redundant to utilize a symbol of peace in an ode to paradise, but I'll risk the faux pas.

There's a place I've found where longing, dissatisfaction, hypocrisy, hate, isolationism and bigotry does not exist. My joy in this discovery is magnified exponentially by the fact that this place is my own adopted home town...Greencastle.

I thank my lucky stars every day when I step out of my humble abode and am awashed in the true sense of harmonic utopianism that permeates our community.

Maybe it's just me, but in my entire time living in this idyllic hamlet, I cannot recall ever seeing an individual excluded or villified because of their lineage, their race, their religion or anything else that might differentiate them from a born and bred Greencastle native in good standing.

So the next time any of you out there get the urge to complain about life as we know in our beloved little town, remember that if you're feeling singled-out or unloved, it probably means you're not working hard enough to embrace the conformity that is the essence of the paradise I've found right here in rural central Indiana.

God bless Greencastle.

God bless the good, Christian people who live here.

God bless the GOP.

God bless America.

Mission accomplished.

We are so lucky to have someone of your caliber educating our children. With your fair, even tempered outlook on life they can't help but become model citizens and pillars of society. I mean that with all the sincerity you felt when you wrote this blog.

P.S. I read the blog you submitted a couple of days ago that has since disappeared. To generalize that the entire population of Greencastle is uncaring and rude is not only unfair but untrue. It is one thing to write a blog in a fit of rage caused by real or imagined slights. Most unprofessional to actually print it. I've lost a lot of respect for you in the last couple of days, but after the sarcastic mess you so cleverly submitted today I'm quite sure you couldn't care less.

So Long, Farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, Adieu.....................

It is obvious by the removal of your previous blog that someone of higher authority slapped your hand. After reading today's blog I can see they did not slap it hard enough. It is not right to fault the many for the acts of the few. I hope the sarcasm you wrote Sunday makes you feel better.

Oh, I so enjoy your blog. Sarcasm is a wonderful thing. Your blog could have very well covered the Cloverdale community, too. I believe we are guaranteed freedom of speech and freedom of the press so as the song says "It's your thing. Do what you wanta do". You do your thing, Mr. Bodnarick. It's wonderful to have someone who will say what they think.
