I'm Over It

Winter is my least favorite season.

As I was scraping ice off my car Wednesday morning, I realized just how over this season I am.

It has done nothing for me except be a reason to purchase a nice new winter coat and accessories.

Winter takes a lot of time out of my schedule. There is the extra time to get dressed in four layers of clothing including that nice new winter coat and accessories; warming up the car and still having to scrape ice off the windows; and driving slower to each destination to ensure my safety and the safety of my fellow motorists.

The silver lining in this season is Christmas and the promise of a new year. Shake off what 2008 did you and focus on the fresh start 2009 will provide.
