Moving day is coming!

Finally! The day is marked on the calendar, circled several times and highlighted. It is moving day. Mr. Big and I will be back out on our own very soon. While I can't speak for him, I am extremely excited.

Living under the same roof with my parents after more than five years hasn't been easy on any of us. Our schedules are as different as night and day -- literally.

However, I am tremendously grateful for the opportunity they have given me. The chance to save money and have major car repairs done without worrying about starving have been invaluable.

I am pretty sure one or two dinners at my new house won't cover the bill I owe them for letting Mr. Big and I stay at their house. I guess the only way to repay them will be to let them live with me one day in the distant future.

Don't worry mom and stepdad! There isn't a nursing home or assisted living in store for you during your golden years.
