It has begunPosted Wednesday, August 26, 2009, at 11:40 PM
Last Friday, high school football began all over the state of Indiana and in two weeks college football begins.
My Saturday afternoons will soon consist of me sitting in my chair, drinking a beverage (one that I am sure that I can't mention on this Web site), and chowing down on some goodies. I have high hopes for my favorite team, Alabama, in reaching the top again and avenging their loss to the Gators in the SEC championship. I will admit Florida will be a hard team to beat. Tim Teabow has proved to be an extremely versatile quarterback. He has led the Gators to two national championships in the last three years, but they are beatable. Someone just needs to find their weakness and exploit it all over national TV. I am also curious to see how Purdue will do this year with new head coach Danny Hope. A lot of people are saying the Boilermakers won't be that tough this year, especially with how they performed last year during Joe Tillers' last season. I think they will be fine. I don't think they will win the Big Ten this year. Not with the teams that Ohio State and Penn State have coming back, but I don't think they are going to be that bad either. But as the saying goes, only time will tell. Comments Showing most recent comments first [Show in chronological order instead] |
