This is going to be a long weekend

Posted Saturday, September 5, 2009, at 9:30 PM

I have just come to realize that as everyone gets ready to celebrate a long weekend for Labor Day, I am going to be one busy person.

Friday Morning -- Went to breakfast with wife around 3 a.m., because I will be getting home around 2 a.m. and she works during the day, so this is the only way I am going to see her. Went to bed after breakfast.

Friday Afternoon -- Woke up between 1-2 p.m. and start packing the car with all the equipment I will need to photograph my friends wedding this weekend.

Friday Evening -- Go to work and covered Friday night football.

Saturday Morning -- 12:30 a.m. left the Banner Graphic and start driving to the north side of Chicago. 4:30 a.m. crash on my friends couch and get some sleep.

Saturday Afternoon -- Woke up around noon, got my suit on (after a shower of course) and went to the church to start setting up the equipment. Around 4:30 p.m. start photographing the Bride and Groom and everybody else.

Saturday Evening -- 6:30 p.m. shoot the ceremony and at 8 p.m. photograph the bride and groom doing their first dance and cutting the cake. 10 p.m. put the camera away and start celebrating.

Sunday Morning -- Get up, not sure when because I don't know what time we will leave the reception, and start processing all the photos that I've taken.

Sunday Evening -- Drive home and sleep.

Monday -- Come to work and start the week over again.
