Not what I planned on

Every year I always ask myself, 'What am I going to do on Christmas this year?' Usually, I'm opening presents with my nieces and nephews and trying to calm my nerves from them running around screaming and hitting each other with their new toys.

Well not this year. Since last Monday night, I have been sicker than a dog and just can't shake this fever that keeps coming onto me every three or four hours. Seriously, I think I have Nyquil running in veins right now from all the doses that I have taken. I have been absolutely miserable these past two days and for the love of god can't figure out how I got sick or how I am going to shake it off.

So this Christmas, I sat at home, wrapped in a blanket watching holiday movies on TV instead of enjoying family time.
