From filling out surveys and accepting insertions orders to where I primarily spend the biggest part of my day, e-mail. On any give day I either send or receive between 50-100 e-mails and just like everyone else I get a lot of junk ones. Now we use Mac here at the office....

(The following is a non paid advertisement....listen up Mac I am willing to come on board full time)

I have made the statement that if Heaven has an operating system its OSX Snow Leopard and God himself has the 27" iMac sitting right on his desk because he would not have a computer that cause constant problems and MAC does not. For what its worth, the devil has an Acer!

Ok back to the blog. We use Mac here at the office and it has an awesome filter for junk mail on it so I do not get a ton in my regular mailbox but one occasionally does get through. I also use Yahoo that is a junk mail sender's haven! I have never seen so much crap come into one mail server in my life! It is almost like Yahoo solicits them to send it to us. I took a few lessons from my wife and sat down one afternoon and get it all under control so I now have the Yahoo box down to just a few junk ones like I have at work.

Now junk mail can be filtered into just a few categories and I know everyone single one of you have gotten or are getting these in your mail box right now.

* Adult - I am not even going to into detail, you know what I am talking about and you have gotten them, probably even looked when no one was watching!

* Pharmacy -- Viagra, Allegra, Valium...You want it you can get it through your e-mail if your patient. First of all...really? If your buying pills through your e-mail you probably should evaluate your life. I also wanted to throw a shout out to medical procedures advertised on-line. It must be ok if they have a web site right? My wife heard on the radio the other day about a guy in San Francisco who was doing medical procedures out of his basement. Check this out... http://consumerist.com/2010/03/advice-do... There is walking advertisement for health care reform if I ever seen it!

* You have won or I need, take your pick -- Over the last year, according my e-mail, I have won the Canadian, Mexican, European, and British lottery and some of them multiple times! All I need to do to claim my money is give them my name, address, phone number, social security Number, name of my children, pants size, contents of my refrigerator, and all of my checking account information!

Next is the I need e-mails. You know what I am talking about. Hello my name is (insert your name of choice) and I am at the airport. I forgot my wallet so please send me $18,000,000 so I can buy a ticket to get home. Or, Hello my husband died and left $53,000,000,000 in the bank and I want to give you half of it if you will just give me your account number so I can wire the money.

I guess the thing that I really do not get is this. Why do they only offer you 30-40% of the money? Your never going to get the money anyway and if your stupid enough to think about it, wouldn't 60-75% be a little more tempting to make you go ahead and say sure? I mean come on! Your trying to scam me and only offering me less then half?!?!

The thing you need to remember is this.... someone is falling for this. If no one ever responded and simply deleted it like any normal thinking person would do then they would all eventually stop but they do not. That says to me that someone somewhere is falling for this. They actually think that the 40% is coming soon and they are waiting while their bank account is milked dry and there credit is destroyed. It amazes me what people will fall for and to what steps others will take all in the name of money. Delete, delete, delete... it is easy to do and could save you in the long run.

In the meantime while you think this over, if anyone is interested I have some ocean front property I am trying to unload cheap!!
