Yawn! Where's the snow?

It's 10 o'clock Thursday night and the main attraction has yet to begin.
As we speak, snowplows are positioned throughout central Indiana, waiting on the snow to arrive. Will it come? Who knows? All I've seen are a few flakes and a pinch of sleet. Hmm. Several weeks ago, I wrote a blog expressing my frustration with the weather forecasters and how they never seem to get it right. So I'm putting them to the test. Each time they predict a big snowstorm, I'm going to keep track of their predictions before the storm and compare it with what we really get. Here are the predictions as of 10 p.m. Thursday: * TV station 1 -- 6-8 inches * TV station 2 -- 6-8 inches southern half of county and 8-10 in the northern half * TV station 3 -- 5-8 inches plus ice for southern two-thirds of county and 6-10 inches for northwest corner of the county. * TV station 4 -- 7-10 inches * National Weather Service -- 8-10 inches northern half of county and 6-8 inches southern half. Now we sit back and wait. Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |

WOW! Looks like they "missed" again and by a large margin.
Wolf, Wolf, Wolf.
And once again the weather people totally missed the forecast.
