Harvick -- need a little cheese?
Having the opportunity to blog for the first time, I looked long and hard to find a topic worthy of the rage. Little did I know, all the farther I needed to look was to Indianapolis less than a week ago.
Most fans cheered as Tony Stewart mocked over the radio, "Here kitty, kitty, kitty", and most of us thought it was hilarious.
Here's a question -- What's the opposite of being cool as a cucumber like Tony? Two words -- Kevin Harvick.
As the week after the race wears on, we get to hear how Harvick is still unhappy with his buddy (and Busch driver) Tony Stewart. How he doesn't understand why Stewart would do such a thing. WHAT? Did I hear that right, I thought to myself. But my answer came repeatedly after Harvick has continued to whine throughout the week about the unfairness of it all.
Mr. Harvick would never do anything such as bump another driver to gain position, or possibly a win. Such a sweet and gentle man. Never!
Has Kevin changed since Ricky Rudd referred to him as "a bull in a china closet"? Or possibly the change came after the incident in the 2005 All-Star challenge, when he exchanged words with Joe Nemechek, the person who didn't even cause the wreck.
So in the famous words of Harry Hogge -- "He didn't slam you, he didn't bump you, he didn't nudge you... he rubbed you. And rubbin, son, is racin'".
Hopefully Mr. Harvick will quit crying over mixing paint and do something that makes him happy. Maybe like casting stones.
