Brady or Manning -- that is the question.

WHO WILL BLINK FIRST?

Brady or Manning -- that is the question.

Over the past several years, New England's Tom Brady and the Colts' Peyton Manning have proven themselves to be among the elite quarterbacks in the league. With both teams sitting on perfect records, the question begs to be answered.

Who is the best quarterback of the two?

Colts fans you might want to get your keyboards ready to send some comments my way because you might not like what you hear.

In 2007, Tom Brady is the best quarterback of the two -- hands down. The Colts would be wise to keep an eye on the calendar, cause Brady's coming to town on Nov. 4 and could quite possible hand the Colts their first loss of the season.

Brady is leading Manning in every statistical category this season. His quarterback rating is over 20 points higher, his passing percentage is three points higher, more Yards per catch -- but the most impressive stat is touchdowns.

Brady has thrown 21 touchdowns compared Manning's 10 and is on pace to throw 56 this season, eclipsing Peyton's record of 49. Even taking Peyton's bye week into consideration, Brady is still distancing himself.

I've never been a huge Tom Brady fan and thought that this year would be a down year due to his off the field endeavors. Man, was I wrong.

I am a Packers fan first and foremost, so they are tops in the league to me but putting personal bias aside, Tom Brady and the New England Patriots are the (second) best team in football. Period, case closed. Is that to say the Colts are doomed? Absolutely not.

The Colts have proven they can win in the harsh conditions of New England but what I fear most is the Colts still feel they can't kill the giant. Right now, Indianapolis reign over the NFL but wherever they go, the shadow of the Patriots is lurking just behind. Even with a Super Bowl title, they can't escape it.

The Colts look stronger this season than last but the Patriots look stronger than ever.

One plus I will give to the Colts is they have a better coach. Keep all your Bill Belichick hype, wad it up and toss it into the same trashcan where he gets his game time attire. The man is a good coach but Tony Dungy is a good person.

So when the Patriots come to town in November, Peyton should hope the Colts defense can put the brakes on the New England Express, which is averaging 38 points a contest. Because if not, that one loss could make for a very long season.

Brady and Manning are in a class all by themselves this year. I am a

Romo fan but even he doesn't measure up to them. I think that currently Brady is at the top of the class. This guy has talent, class and Randy Moss. I think the true "Super Bowl" will be the AFC championship game between the Patriots and Colts.
