My daughter, the television host - kind of
Have you ever had one of those moments when your child does something so utterly funny, you're glad the vehicle's stopped for fear that you might wreck? I have more than once, and my oldest daughter provided me with some much-needed laughter on a day when things were not going as planned.
Already in a rotten mood for silly reasons, I decided my daughters and I would zip through the drive-thru at Burger King because I didn't want to mess with cooking lunch. And yes folks, I cook.
My daughters have become obsessed with Scooby-Doo. They watch a mix of the original series along with the new Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated and that's much better than most young people programs.
So as we're sitting there waiting for a food, they begin to sing the theme songs and then as the song ends, my oldest daughters does the commercial intro, which left me speechless. No hesitation, just a great segue.
I've told most everyone about it and how I think she might have a future in Hollywood. I've got the agents numbers on speed dial, new head shots ordered and I have a stylist flying in from Tinsel Town. Some may say I'm taking it to the extreme and it might be beginning to get out of control.
We're not letting it go to our heads, we're just taking it one step at a time. But no matter what fame brings us -- riches, private jet or personal assistants -- I promise it won't change us a b...
No... wire... hangers. What's wire hangers doing in this closet when I told you: no wire hangers EVER?
A small portion of this is true, but it all was a whole lot of fun
