  • Wonderful insight, Jared! Can you maybe provide a few Photoshop mock-ups of some possible new looks for our president?

(By the way, I am also impressed that Taft was Supreme Court Justice for 109 years. I was not aware of that).

    Jared Jernagan's response:
I'll see what I can do for mock-ups. And thanks for catching the typo.
  • We at the American Mustache Institute (www.AmericanMustacheInstitute.org) feel our nation is sorely lacking in presidential mustaches. Indeed, Bob Barr's Libertarian attempt excluded, no major party candidate has even run a Mustached American for the highest office in the land since Thomas E. Dewey ran in 1948. We have even petitioned the current president -- Mr. Obama -- to grow a presidential mustache as he is surrounded by good examples in the form of David Axelrod and Attorney General Eric Holder, the first Mustached American A.G. since 1946.

  • Really enjoyed this, Jerad.

One more note on Teddy Roosevelt who happens to be my favorite President)... he established the national park system and was an ardent conservationist. He also came close to pulling off a Grover Cleveland when he ran against Wilson on a third party -- finished second -- and was probably the reason Wilson won.
