Tuesday Jam: It's a Happy Enchilada
I don't think I can say much about John Prine that I didn't say last week.
But I can say this: I'm about as upset about his death as I've ever been about anyone I didn't know personally. Tom Petty's death comes to mind as something that rivals it.
I realized how upset I when, right after reading his obituary Tuesday night, I told my wife the news and could barely get the words out.
That's always the worst of it for me -- actually having to say it out loud.
I'm better at tributes with a keyboard.
But even on that front, I don't have a lot to say this evening.
So, I'll let the man himself say it and leave you with this: "That's the way that the world goes round."
Take care of each other out there, friends.
