It's Christmas Time

I haven't really been feeling in the Christmas mood this year. This in part could be due to the fact I no longer have an extended break from school and am forced to work everyday. That part stinks about the "real world." But, the weather is also playing a factor in part due to it be abnormally warm out.

I am excited for Christmas mostly for the fact that my family has the best party of the year on Christmas Eve. Growing up we were really close with our neighbors and used to have a neighborhood Christmas party. It was always one of the most exciting parts of the year as we were all good friends. Even though many things of changed throughout the past few years we've decided to bring back that tradition and get back to what's important, family and friends coming together. It's no longer about all the gifts it's about just having a great time with each other.

My brother Lucas will also be in town from Los Angeles. It's been awhile since anyone in the family has seen him so it's sure to be a good time.

This year has been truly fantastic. I can't believe it's already coming to an end. It's amazing how much my life has changed just within a year and I know even more exciting things are to come.
