Opening Day is almost here

Yesterday I participated in my first fantasy baseball draft. Knowing absolutely nothing about baseball, I thought I was in for quite a challenge.

Now being the girl I am, I would typically ask my older brother Adam to help me with this very important task. However, due to the last Blackhawks game of the regular season, I was on my own.

I have never done a draft before, the previous draft for basketball was an auto-draft in which I had no control of. But, I found this whole draft business to be quite fun, possibly because I had first pick.

Needless to say, many of my players were picked for the uniqueness of their name (Huston Street...most defiantly one of my favorite streets in New York City). But after talking to my father, I apparently have a pretty good team.

So, even though I know absolutely nothing about how good my players actually are or what these statistics actually mean, I think I might do fairly well. That's hard to say since I'm playing against all men who know the sport, but lets just hope I don't come in last.
