Final Salute

Last night I had the pleasure of attending the Chicago Blackhawks game six of the playoffs. Now, anyone who knows me knows I am a huge Blackhawks fan. So, naturally I was extremely excited and could not wait to get out of work to get back home.

The game started off with some well-played hockey. Then sure enough, took a turn for the worse that ended with us losing 4-0. It was this loss that also shattered our dreams of bringing the Cup back to Chicago.

During this playoff series I managed to bruise my heel by kicking a table over a bad call, turn my friends into hockey fans and had some amazing celebrations (when we actually won).

The pure excitement of the playoffs makes everything worth it. Although, I could do without going into overtime every game, I love hockey season.

I am sad to see the season end on a sour note, but things happen. The Hawks came out playing with such excitement last night. They just couldn't get a shot in. Disappointing to say the least.

Now, I'll have to sit and wait for the next few months till next season. I'm just hoping Nashville gets eliminated.
