The law of cause and effectPosted Wednesday, January 6, 2010, at 8:11 AM
Karma is a law in Hinduism that maintains that every act done, no matter how insignificant, will eventually return to the doer with equal impact. Good will be returned with good; evil with evil.
It is sometimes referred to as a "moral law of cause and effect." Two of my personal favorite reasons to believe in karma include: that it represents ultimate justice as everyone harvests the results of their actions; and, even if karma did not exist, as long as people try to avoid negative actions, the world is a better place to live.
