Courthouse Clock Installation

No employees at the Putnam County Courthouse made for a Good Friday to install the new clocks on the north and south side of the building. Work began early, with workers from Smith Bell and Clock taking out the old vent on the building's north side before beginning installation of the two new backlit clocks. Members of the Heritage Preservation Society and others gathered to admire the new timepiece that will grace the historic downtown Greencastle building. Work was set to continue until completion on Friday. More photos will be added.
