Foundation announces Lyon Family Scholars (06/23/07)
Four Putnam County citizens have been awarded Lyon Family Scholarships through the Putnam County Community Foundation. Each scholarship recipient receives up to $10,000 a year for two years to help finance their education. Sept. 30, 1933-June 21, 2007 Billy E. Lydick, 73, Coatesville, died Thursday at his residence. Born in Amo, he was the son of Roy E. and Maryan Franklin Lydick. He married Mary Lou Patrick Lydick, and she survives. He was an accountant for the Indiana Department of Transportation for 22 years and had been a banker at First National Bank in Coatesville for 35 years...
