Edna Faye Peggy White, 90, Russellville, died Thursday at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Bellville, Ill. Born in Bremerton, Wash., she was the daughter of Grover C. and Retta F. (Simpson) Almon. Greencastle police investigated two accidents recently. At 11:30 a.m. Wednes-day, a two vehicles collided on Shadowlawn at Hillsdale Avenue. Capt. Michael D. Hanlon reported that Richard Rooker, 48, Greencastle, was driving a northbound 1995 Dodge Dakota when his brakes failed and he could not stop at the intersection. ...
