MONROVIA -- The Greencastle Middle School football teams picked up a pair of wins at Monrovia on Thursday. The seventh grade won 20-0 to move its record to 5-0. BAINBRIDGE -- For the North Putnam Cougars, it was business as usual Friday night as they defeated the Monrovia Bulldogs 28-0 and moved to 7-0 on the season and 4-0 in the conference. North Putnam broke out of the gate early and took the ball 66 yards in six plays for a touchdown. Big runs from Adam Vondasaar and Kyle Rooker set up a 21-yard touchdown toss from Griffen Dahlsrtom to Jarrett Ban with 8:56 on the clock to get the Cougar express rolling...

Twice Friday night, at the beginning of each half, Cloverdale looked like they would take control of the football game and ruin Greencastle's homecoming. In both halves, Greencastle overcame slow starts and held the Clovers without any more scores for the rest of the half.
