A Putnam County man who pleaded guilty in January to child molesting appeared in court for sentencing this week. Thomas Jerry Hudson, 75, was sentenced by Senior Circuit Court Judge Diana LaViolette to serve four years with the Indiana Department of Correction after he admitted to molesting a female child in 2004...

Fillmore Elementary students rock and rolled Monday afternoon to the music of Thaddeus Rex, an award-wining children's songwriter and acoustic rock singer. The show was a reward for the school, which recently earned accreditation as a Four Star school in Indiana. Funding for a multi-million dollar Ivy Tech campus in Greencastle received final approval from the Indiana State Budget Commission Monday, Mayor Sue Murray announced. George Seketa, 76, Greencastle, died Wednes­day at Putnam County Hospital. Born in Benld, Ill., he was the son of Joseph and Margaret (Arlesic) Seketa. He married Delores "Dee" Hughes in 1957 and they have been married for 50 years. She survives. A 1950 graduate of Benld High School, he served in the U.S. Navy from 1951-55 and in 1962 earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Southern Illinois University...

Boneita "Bonnie" B. Davis, 75, Cloverdale, died Saturday at St. Vincent Hospital. Born in Bainbridge, she was the daughter of Cleo A. and Mabel (Dale) Mason. She was a caregiver and homemaker. She was a member of House of Victory, Indianapolis, and Cloverdale Assembly of God...
