Wanda Mae Rogers, 68, of Greencastle, passed away at 8:32 p.m., May 13, 2008 following an extended battle with cancer. She was born in Clay City, April 9, 1940 to Marion and Francis Cochran Love. Wanda worked for various nursing homes as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She also worked as a cashier and sales associate for Wal-Mart stores in Greencastle and Brazil. Fair on the Square kicks off Friday at noon

The Indiana Threat 10 and Under Travel Baseball Team recently competed in the Legends of Lincoln Tournament. The tournament took place at the Lincoln Park baseball facility in Columbus, Ind. While competing with teams from Kentucky and Indiana, the Threat defeated the Louisville Samurai 21-9 in the championship game and was awarded the Tournament Champions plaque.
