ROACHDALE -- Roachdale Town Council members Jack Jones and Bill Long approved an amended schedule of rates which will increase the cost of water and sewer usage in Roachdale at Tuesday evenings' meeting. The increase will take effect in two increments. Beginning Aug. 1 the minimum cost to customers per 3,000 gallons for sewage will be $23.55. The second increment will take effect on Feb. 1, 2009 when the minimum amount will rise to $28.14...
