Water boil lifted for Cloverdale (01/13/09)

Bainbridge insurance agent loses license (01/13/09)
BAINBRIDGE -- After a five-month investigation, Indiana Commissioner of Insurance James Atterholt has permanently revoked the license of a Bainbridge insurance agent. The Indiana Department of Insurance suspended the license of Bradley K. Buchanan, owner of Bright & Williamson Insurance Services II Inc., which did business as Buck Insurance Services, on Sept. 11. Coatesville man sentenced for child seduction (01/13/09)
A Coatesville man was given a suspended sentence in Putnam County Circuit Court Monday on a Class D felony charge of child seduction. Roy K. Buchanan, 68, will spend 18 months on probation. Buchanan and his lawyer, Darrell Felling, requested that the charge be reduced to a Class A misdemeanor. Judge Matthew Headley denied the request, at least for the time being...
Eagle swimmers battle Chargers (01/13/09)
Monday evening the Eagles swim teams hosted North Montgomery. The South Putnam boys lost to the Chargers by a mere two points, 93-91. The girls also lost to North Montgomery with a score of 113-59. Contributing to this loss was the depth the Chargers held over the Eagles.
