CLOVERDALE -- Cedar Woodworth's essay, "Plastics Engineers Join Me on the Basketball Court," was a new approach in writing about plastics. She placed second in the Society of Plastics Engineers 16th annual "Wonders of Plastic" contest. For her efforts, the Cloverdale Middle school student was awarded a certificate and a check for $50.
