One of 15 young ladies will succeed 2008 Fair Queen Cheryl Mitchel, center, and be crowned the 2009 Putnam County Fair Queen on July 11. The contest will take place at 7 p.m. at the Community Building.
Cloverdale farmers market underway (07/01/09)
CLOVERDALE -- The Cloverdale Farmers Market, sponsored by Cloverdale Main Street, has opened. The market is located on the open lot at the corner of Lafayette and Logan Streets in downtown Cloverdale, one block east of 231. It expanded in 2008 to include vendors to sell their homemade craft items, artistic creations and flowers in addition to homegrown produce and eggs.
