North Putnam cuts 15 certified staff (04/16/10)
BAINBRIDGE -- North Putnam school board members made the cuts of 15 certified staff members official at their Thursday night meeting. Matt Winslow, left, Steve Bahr and Brad Grable with Duke Energy donate their time and equipment to set posts at Big Walnut Park Wednesday for a new scoreboard donated by friends and family of the late Brooke Cash. Ronald Brooke Cash was killed in a motorcycle accident July 7, 2007, at the age of 36. He was active in the Fillmore Youth League and a member of the 1986 Class A state championship football team at South Putnam High School, where he was a 1988 graduate. In addition, Greencastle Parks and Recreation Department received a second scoreboard for its softball field at Robe-Ann Park, donated by Chuck Schroeder.
