Central Elementary students spent a day in the world of science. As a class assignment, DePauw University students spent Thursday at Central conducting science experiments with fifth and sixth grade classes. ROACHDALE -- A Roachdale man eluded capture by police for several hours on Friday. Roachdale Town Marshal Mike Mahoy attempted to stop a vehicle driven by Wesley A. TERRE HAUTE -- Rose-Hulman sophomore shortstop, and South Putnam grad, Meghan Canary earned a spot on the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Softball Team, in results released recently by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
