After bowing out of the sectional to the Cascade Cadets last season, South Putnam attacked the 2010 season with a singular goal in mind -- reach the finals. And tonight, the Eagles will be playing for exactly that. South Putnam has earned their trip to the finals after defeating the host Tri-West Bruins 11-2 in the first round and North Putnam 5-0 in the semifinal. Monday is going to see a lot of baseball action as the 2010 Class 2A and Class 3A baseball sectional conclude. Of the games remaining, Greencastle, South Putnam and Cloverdale are still in the hunt for a sectional championship.
