Santa makes his rounds at Greencastle (12/19/10)
GREENCASTLE -- The last Saturday before Christmas brings with it a few traditions; last minute shopping, an overabundance of green and red and sightings of the famed jolly old elf all around town. The elf made an appearance at the Lunch with Santa Claus event at the Greencastle National Guard Armory. Parade worth the wait (12/19/10)
GREENCASTLE -- First runs are often difficult. There's a reason that words and phrases like "prototype" and "working out the kinks" exist. With a parade, the only way to work out the kinks is to have the parade and adjust for the next time. Greencastle's Christmas parade had some of those expected kinks, but it also had a lot going for it...

Patricia "Patty" Diane Clampitt, 57, of Roachdale, passed away Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010. Patty was born May 31, 1953 in Greencastle and was the daughter of the late Maurice Sims and Norma (Keyt) Russell. She was a 1971 graduate of North Putnam High School. She was also employed at TDS Telecom in Roachdale for 30 years. She was a member of the Bainbridge Christian Church and the Groveland Order of the Eastern Star #330...
