Coats for Kids (Local News ~ 09/29/11)
In addition to celebrating homecoming festivities Friday night, the students of South Putnam will also be supporting the community by collecting new and gently used coats for the Coats for Kids program coordinated through the Putnam County Youth Development Commission. Student Council members are staffing the coat drive. Coats can be placed in the collection boxes at the game. Coats will also be collected at South Putnam Jr./Sr. High School during school hours beginning this Friday. Coats will be later distributed to people in this community.
