Rebecca Jo "Becky" Brothers, age 55, of Roachdale, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Born July 26, 1956 in Greencastle, she was the daughter of Joseph William and Marie (Mink) Brothers. She was a graduate of North Putnam High School, Class of 1974; Marian College, where she had been an athlete and active in three sports; and received her Master's Degree from DePauw University...

Putnam County's Relay for Life is holding its first fundraiser since the last relay, a new annual event called "Wrap Up Cancer."
