City Police Two recent arrests were reported by Greencastle City Police. -- At 7:05 p.m. Tuesday, Corey Reeves, 23, Fillmore, was arrested by Officer Darrel Bunten at Greencastle Police headquarters on a warrant for theft. -- At 6:30 p.m. Friday, Christopher Leathers, 28, Greencastle, was arrested at an Avenue B residence by Officer Bunten on an active warrant...

Habitat for Humanity has a way with fixing up dilapidated homes and turning them into livable and affordable places to stay. For their 20th house, donated by First National Bank, Tim Matthews and Chris Scott are working with Jesse and Amber Rogers of Bainbridge to create a new house for the Rogers couple and their two kids. The plan is to finish the house in the next few months. One of the major rehabs of the house involve placing insulation in the second floor of the home (above) where there was no insulation previously. The Putnam County Museum invites the public to participate in a new monthly contest held at the museum. Beginning this week, the museum will place an unfamiliar artifact on display and invite visitors to guess what the object is and what its purpose might be...
