VFW Auxiliary raises more than $6,000 for cancer center

To the Editor: A March 12 cancer benefit, hosted by VFW Auxiliary of Greencastle, saw a total of $6,600 raised to aid the Putnam County Hospital's cancer clinic in Greencastle. A Pig Pie Bingo and a live auction highlighted the event which included food provided by several local vendors.
