George "Frank" Zimmerman, 68, Trezevant, Tenn., formerly of Greencastle, died Monday at his residence.

Born in Greencastle, he was the son of Otha "Red" and Ruth (Myers) Zimmerman.

He was a retired tool and dye maker for Tower Automotive.

He married Ann Quinnette Zimmerman. She survives.

Also surviving are his wife, sons George Zimmerman Jr. and Dennis Zimmerman; stepsons Henry McCurdy and Michael McCurdy; stepdaughter Shelly Saxton; 12 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sons, Otha and Jim Zimmerman.

Private services took place on April 6 at Carroll Memorial Gardens.

Dilday Funeral Home, Tennessee, was in charge of arrangements.
