Jack L. Jones, 49, Waveland, died Wednesday at Rockville.

Born in Gary, he was the son of Carroll and Linda (Howell) Jones.

He had attended Southmont High School, was a union carpenter and a member of New Market Christian Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Heather Bell and husband Craig, Crawfordsville; two brothers, Bill Jones, Crawfordsville, and Kevin D. Jones, Florida; a sister, Judy Price and husband Jack, Crawfordsville; his parents, Crawfordsville; and companion Sharon Strasburger, Crawfords-ville; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Machledt and Servies Funeral Home, Waveland, with Rev. George Dosher officiating.

Burial will be in Indian Creek Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday.
