Etta Ruth Croan, 78, Fillmore, died Tuesday afternoon at Hendricks Regional Health, Danville.

Born in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Wilbert and Lena McNew.

She worked in production at Naval Avionics and also had been a supervisor at Gilley for 20 years. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Holton.

Surviving are her husband, Charles Croan; sons Tom Croan and wife Kelli, Fillmore, Steve Croan and wife Virginia, North Carolina, and Gary Croan and wife Lynore, Fillmore; brother Bobby McNew and wife Lewella, Holton; sister Betty Gilley and husband Wade, Florida; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hays Funeral Home, Coatesville, with Rev. Mark Miller officiating. Burial will be in Stilesville Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday.
