Joel Stephen Brown, 24, Roachdale, died Tuesday at his residence.

Born in Chattanooga, Tenn., he was the son of Rev. John Stephen Brown and Tina Marie (Clawson) Brown.

He was a mason's assistant, and had graduated in May 1999 from Grace Christian Academy.

Surviving are his parents, New Maysville; brothers Philip Aaron Brown, South Carolina, Nahum John Brown, Austin, Texas, Josiah Thomas Brown and Micah David Brown, both of New Maysville; sisters Lydia Joy Brown, Mt. Enterprise, Texas, and Charity Grace Brown, New Maysville; and grandparents Leonard Clawson and Wanda Eileen Clawson, both of Kingman.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Eternal Grace Baptist Church, New Maysville, with burial in New Maysville Cemetery.

Visitation is 1-3 p.m. Friday at the church.

Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, Roachdale, is assisting with arrangements.
