Nelson Eddie Robinson, 65, Roachdale, died Sunday at his residence.

Born in Danville, he was the son of Denver and Della (Malicoat) Robinson.

He had been a dockworker for Carter and Co. for 30 years.

He married Janet Lavonne Webb on Jan. 27, 1990 at Roachdale. She survives.

Also surviving are daughters Jane Robinson, Amber Robinson and Jodi Dunn; stepdaughter Lisa Long; sons Nelson Robinson II and Dennie Robinson; sisters Barb Howley, Vickie Evans, Judy Robinson, Joyce Robinson and Beverly Goines; and 11 grandchildren.

Services will be at noon Saturday at Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with Rev. Jesse Jones officiating. Burial will be at Danville South Cemetery.

Visitation is 10 a.m. until service time Saturday.
