Born at Bainbridge, she was the daughter of Milton Brown.
She was an 86-year member of Greencastle Order of Eastern Star, and was a graduate of Terre Haute Teachers College. She taught school in Cleveland for 38 years before moving to Melbourne, Fla. She had been a resident of the Eastern Star Home in Phoenix, Ariz., for seven years.
She was married to Romie Trout, who preceded her in death.
Surviving is a niece, Phyllis Rowe, Phoenix, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by her father, husband and siblings Cecil, Lynn and Carroll Brown.
