Kari L. (Hylemon) Faulstich, 29, Greencastle, formerly of Elwood, died Tuesday at her residence in an accident.

Born in Elwood, she was the daughter of William J. and Rebecca L. (Smith) Hylemon.

She had been a school bus driver for several years with the Tippecanoe School Corp. She was a 1995 graduate of Frankton High School, and was an active member of the Lafayette First church of the Nazarene where she drove the church bus and was involved in the Sunday School program.

She married Jason A. Faulstich on May 3, 1997. He survives.

Also surviving are her parents, Polk City, Fla.; daughter Lauren Grace Faulstich, at home; son Luke Andrew Faulstich, at home; sister Holly R. Hylemon, Elwood; maternal grandmother Rosella Smith, Elwood; paternal grandmother Myrtle McClanahan, Winter Haven, Fla.; great-grandmother Marie Knotts, Elwood; and several nieces and nephews.

She as preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Fred Smith and great-grandfather Ursel Knotts.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First church of the Nazarene, Lafayette, with Rev. Doug Beadle officiating. Burial will be in Elwood City Cemetery.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home, Elwood.
