Richard C. Rubin, 58, Greencastle, died Thursday at his residence.

Born in Miami, Fla., he was the son of Louis Rubin and Gladys (Lubliner) Ascher.

He graduated from Newtrier High School in Winnetka, Ill., and from Oxford University.

He was a publisher for the Greencastle Monthly Publication for the past 20 years

Survivors include his mother; his wife, Christina D. Rubin, Greencastle; a daughter, Sara Rubin, Peoria, Ill.; a son, Adam Rubin, Chicago; a sister, Bonnie Rubin, Glenview, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister.

Services will take place at 7 p.m. Monday at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home with Rev. William Wieland officiating. There will be no visitation.
