Lige B. "Lucky" Miles, 78, Lynnville, formerly of Roachdale, died Monday at St. Mary's Medical Center, Evansville.

He was the son of Prentice and Ollie D. (Thurman) Miles.

He was a member of the LA Sportsman's Club.

He was married for 44 years to Wyonetta Haltom Miles, who survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Diane Preston and husband Bob, Speedway, Patti Jean Boner and husband John, Mooresville, and Teresa Miles, Indianapolis; five sons, Steve Miles and wife Jackie, Morgantown, Terry Miles and wife Angie, and Mark Miles, all of Evansville, Danny Miles and wife Krissy, Winslow, and Michael Miles, Indianapolis; two sisters, Sally Miller, Bainbridge, and Eva Jo Lent, Eustis, Fla.; 19 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Earl and Paul, and sisters Virginia and Rachel.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, Roachdale, with burial in Blakesburg Cemetery.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Pemberton-Bradley Funeral Home, Lynnville, and noon until service time Friday at Servies and Morgan.
