Floy P. Heavin, 88, Coatesville, died Monday evening at Putnam County Hospital.

Born in Putnam County, she was the daughter of Charles and Suzie (Zeiner) Lisby.

She had been a cook at DePauw University and at Putnam County Hospital for several years. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

She married Howard Heavin, who preceded her in death on Sept. 30, 1973.

Surviving are a son, Dr. Robert Heavin, Bainbridge; two daughters, Rita Barker, Haelwood, and Rhonda Poe, Coatesville; brother Harold Lisby, Coatesville; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Newlin officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.
