Christina Casassa Stough, 93, Brazil, died Friday at Union Hospital, Terre Haute.
Born in Brazil, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Margaret Rossatto Casassa. She married Joe Stough on Sept. 7, 1937. He preceded her in death in 1971.
A 1931 graduate of Staunton High School, she was active in the family business, a dairy farm that operated in Clay County for 70 years. Her family immigrated to the United States from Turin, Italy just after the turn of the century.
She was a member of the Annunciation Church in Brazil.
Survivors include four nieces, three nephews, 13 great nieces and nephews, 22 great-great-nieces and nephews and two great-great-great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Jesse, Dom, James and Justino Casassa, and a sister, Katherine Biggs.
Funeral mass will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Annunciation Catholic Church, Brazil.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at Moore Funeral Home, Brazil, and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
