Doris Olive Crafton, 87, Cloverdale, died Sunday at her residence.

Born in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Benjamin and Nita (Harrison) Highshue.

She married Thomas R. Crafton on Aug. 1, 1940, and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Cloverdale; daughter Janet Su-Lyn Lybrand, Chapel Hill, N.C.; son Thomas Michael Crafton, Cloverdale; six grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside services will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday at New Providence Cemetery with Thomas R. Crafton officiating.
