Kenneth Dwight Miller, 77, Roachdale, died Friday at Hendricks Regional Health, Danville.
Born at Clinton Falls, he was the son of the late Charles O. and Verna (Lewis) Miller. He married Helen Mahan on Aug. 8, 1954 at Merom, Ind., and she survives.
A 1946 graduate of Roachdale High School, he also graduated from Purdue University in 1950 and received his master's degree from Indiana University. He taught school and was principal at Reelsville, Roachdale and North Putnam High School where he retired in 1977.
He was past master of Roachdale Masonic Lodge, a member of Roachdale V.F.W. and Roachdale Presbyterian Church.
Additional survivors include two sons, Jerry Miller and wife Janet, Bainbridge, and Jeffery Miller, Roachdale; a daughter, JoEllen Berger and husband Mike, Pittsboro; two brothers, Earl "Duke" Miller and wife Joanne, Roachdale, and Russell Miller and wife Dete, Crawfordsville; a sister, Mary Alice Cox, Danville; and seven grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles O. Miller.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, 102 E. Washington St., Roachdale, with the Rev. Alan Small officiating. Burial will follow at Roachdale Cemetery.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home with a masonic memorial service to be conducted at 8 p.m.
