Lillie Belle Williams, 74, New Market, died Saturday at her residence.

Born in Science Hill, Ky., she was the daughter of Thomas Baugh and Myrtle Anderson Baugh Brown.

She attended Science Hill Schools and married Oscar Williams on Oct. 28, 1957. He survives.

She was a cook at the South Montgomery School Corporation for 28 years, retiring in 2000.

Survivors include daughters Diane Baugh, Crawfordsville, Marcia Dunning, New Market, Lana Phillips, Greencastle, and Sheila Lannon and husband Michael, Kansas; sons Jerry Baugh and wife Stacy, Frankfort, and Greg Williams, Crawfordsville; sister Odean Sweet, Morristown; eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by infant son Roger Williams and sister Maggie Slack.

Private family services are scheduled for Wednesday at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, New Market, with Rev. Jeff Tryon officiating. Burial will be at Ladoga Cemetery.

There will be no visitation.
