Carla Gene Schwab, 47, Greencastle, died Tuesday at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.

Born in Marion, she was the daughter of Carlos Eugene and Dorothea (Wilson) Goodwin. She married Gregory L. Schwab Sept. 19, 1977, and he survives.

A 1977 graduate of Marion High School, she was employed in the publications department at DePauw University for eight years.

Additional survivors include her father and stepmother Shirlene Goodwin, Marion; two sons, Kinzie L. Schwab and wife Dannyel, Springfield, Mo., and Justin L. Schwab, Greencastle; a daughter, Emily G. Schwab, Greencastle; two sisters, Karen Ghaster and husband Randy, Toledo, Ohio, and Debra Ende and husband Mike, Magnolia, Del.; and one granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Rev. Todd Coget officiating.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
